Today the Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) and Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) announced $1.3 million in new funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The funding will continue to support Connecticut’s successful Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking Rapid Rehousing Program. Last summer the program received an initial $1.7 million award from HUD, with the program total standing at $3 million as of July 2020.

Statement Regarding Arrest of Fotis Dulos and Michelle Troconis Jan 07 2020 The following statement is issued by Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CCADV) chief executive officer, Karen Jarmoc: “Jennifer Farber Dulos was one of 14 individuals killed by an intimate partner in Connecticut in 2019. We applaud the arrest of the individuals suspected of involvement in her death and thank all of the law enforcement agencies, federal, state and local, and the State’s Attorney’s office for their diligence in ensuring that these persons are held accountable for their deplorable actions.”
